Freestyle Digital Media nabs 'Deadheads'
Freestyle Digital Media has acquired the domestic rights to horror comedy ''Deadheads.'' Deal was introduced Monday within the American Film Market. Pic won honours within the Traverse City Film Festival 2011 as well as the Newport Beach Film Festival 2011. The film is slated for just about any domestic release inside the first quarter. ''Deadheads'' starring Michael McKiddy and Ross Kidder, follows two zombie slackers who finish up remarkably reborn within the dead among a disastrous zombie outbreak. After finding an gem within the coat pocket, one enlists his new found zombie friend to try a mission searching for his lost love. The sale was talked about by FDM's Boss Susan Jackson, Producer Andy Drummond and Director Brett Pierce. ''Deadheads has created great press together with an enormous number of fans in the amazing worldwide horror festival run which we feel the film gets the makings from the cult classic inside the comedy horror market.''
